Westerlands - Varied foot, armoured Longbows and heavy Cavalry. I would choose the Vale more often if not for the locked diplomacy. They'll never go to war unless you're the one attacking them. 70/30 split cav/bows and charge through the longbow lines with your horse for Swadian flashbacks. Many goods sell for high price in Sisterton so don't ignore them completely.

I loved their archers' armour in 2.0 but due to locked diplomacy idk what they actually do in war on their own. Challenging nation to side with, as ocean battles can be frustrating. There's not enough fiefs to go around and unless you help them take Moat Cailin, they'll probably waste their army on Barrowton and end up getting whooped soon after by the North/Riverlands. Unfortunately, Winterfell has a garrison and the western shore has few harbours to land on. If this game was true to the war of five Kings, they would do a lot more than they seem to in game. Ironborn - these guys are the underdogs of Westeros. Riverlands - two handed swords and cool helmets are what set them apart. Halberds are amazing vs southron calvalry and they will be the bulk of your army. Use hold fire, volley fire, hold fire and keep them out of the fight.
